First Amendment Audit

I led the production, script, post-production, and direction of the First Amendment Audit Orientation video for Polk County Government, creating a clear, practical resource to guide staff in understanding and responding to First Amendment audit situations. From concept development through final delivery, I focused on translating complex legal and procedural guidelines into engaging, easy-to-follow visual storytelling. The project combined on-location filming, structured scripting, and precise editing to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and accessibility, ultimately supporting the County’s commitment to transparency, public service, and effective communication. Explorando Polk

Explorando Polk is a bilingual communication initiative created to engage the Spanish-speaking community within the county. I help produce culturally relevant video content that informs residents about county services, local programs, and important updates in Spanish, promoting accessibility and strengthening communication with a broader audience.

As part of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) campaign series, I help produce and direct informational videos that showcase the county’s infrastructure investments and community development projects. These productions communicate the impact of long-term planning efforts, helping residents understand how public funds are improving transportation, public facilities, and quality of life throughout Polk County. State of the County

For the 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 State of the County presentations, I was part of the PGTV directing and production team responsible for creating the main video content showcased during the County Manager’s live event presentation under the leadership of the Communications Director. My role included participating in the creative development process, filming on location throughout Polk County, editing feature segments, and supporting the overall visual storytelling and production direction of the annual presentation. These productions combined cinematic visuals, government communications, and live event coordination to highlight county achievements, infrastructure growth, public services, and community impact for residents and stakeholders across Polk County.

Spanish Public Information Officer

During emergency situations affecting Polk County, I served on the Public Information Office team operating from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), helping coordinate and deliver critical public communications to the Hispanic community. My role included conducting and presenting live Spanish-language press conferences, providing residents with timely updates on hurricanes, severe weather events, emergency services, safety procedures, shelter information, and county response efforts. Working alongside county leadership and emergency management officials, I helped ensure accurate, clear, and accessible communication during high-pressure situations, supporting Polk County’s commitment to keeping all residents informed and safe during emergencies.

Working with PGTV, I support the development and production of a wide range of public communication content, including promotional campaigns, informational series, event coverage, and department features. My involvement includes creative oversight, directing, and production management to ensure every project aligns with the county’s communication goals while maintaining high production standards.
